We will have Youth Group on Sundays again during the school year. We will start at 6 pm and go until 7:30 pm.
Invite your friends to join us at youth group, invite people that you think may need some guidance or structure. Invite those teens that you are worried about, that may not have God in their life yet. You never know how much your invitation will mean, but sometimes it may be the one thing that helps someone get through a hard time.
With the start of the new school year, we begin with all kinds of emotions that go along with it. Fights among friends, broken relationships, betrayal by someone you trust, bullying, competition among teammates, name calling, the list goes on and on. Don’t take part in things that you know will hurt someone else, the smallest word or gesture can sometimes be the tipping point. Be true to yourself and to those around you.
As a Christian, we are asked to help share the word! You can do this by praying for those in need. This can be fellow schoolmates, friends, family, neighbors, even people you don’t “personally” know, but need help or healing. Sometimes we find our selves praying for loved ones that need comfort or guidance. You don’t have to pray for someone just because they are sick. Their are lots of people that are lost, overwhelmed, heartbroken or feel forgotten. You can make a difference!!
If you need help with an issue or have a friend in need of more than what you can give, please know that I am always available to help. We also have trained adults within our church that will help in any way we can. You just have to make the first step.
