Worship Committee

The Worship Committee’s primary goal is to coordinate with Pastor Bill, Brad Pierce and volunteers within the church to make each service the best possible.  Volunteers provide Communion preparation, Acolyte training and coordination, Greeters, Ushers, Lay Readers, Sound Personnel, change paraments and banners, fill candles, clean and organize the drama costumes and coordinate costumes for events.

Fundraisers are held to provide all the needs such as decorating, banners, flowers, sound equipment, projectors. microphones and software.  Fundraisers are chosen that will not only raise money, but also build friendships in our church family. We try to hold events like dinners, talent shows, concerts, Lent dinners, Wednesday night meals and ice cream socials.  The worship committee also provides gifts for both Mothers Day & Fathers Day.

Some fundraisers reach out to the community such as the craft sale, animal blessing, memorial service and serving dinners for the “Care to Wait” youth program that is held at our church.
